Introduction to QFT in Curved Spacetime

Speaker: Marko Toros
We first discuss classical General Relativity with particular focus on conservation laws and symmetries. We then look at quantum field theory and the role of Poincaré symmetries. After this preliminary part we move to quantum field theory in curved spacetime. We take another look at the notions of vacuum state, particles and conserved quantities. At the very end we briefly discuss some problems of quantum field theory in curved spacetime.
